Gilles Ferland: gilles.ferland@octaveassurances.com T. 450-656-0008 EXT# 124
A ERP (Extended Reporting Period) is a guarantee intended to cover only previous acts. However, coverage must be in place at the time the services were rendered as well as at the time the claim is presented.
In other words, if a member is subject to a lawsuit alleging that they provided negligent service after their policy expires, there will be no coverage even if the lawsuit arises from negligent service that was provided while the member was insured, unless they notify us and opt for a PPAG. This program does not cover new services provided by a member after the date the first PPAG certificate was created.
If you continue to offer services, you must become an accredited member membership with the Prolink insurance option.
