Before you register, it is important to read all the registration procedures related to your membership category. Refer to the Membership Categories section to learn more about the category to choose and the fee rate. Any member that wants the accreditation MUST pass the accreditation exam before registering.
Registration fees are non-refundable.
Important: To register, you will have to upload your scanned or photographed documents
in .doc format, .xls; .pdf or .jpg. Documents that are not clear or legible will not be accepted.
ACCREDITED MEMBER
To be accredited by the Federation, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and pass the accreditation exam of the QKF.
In the case of a new accreditation, a $ 30 fee opening and file analysis are required. The cost of file analysis and the annual fees are not refundable.

The transcript must have the official seal of your university of study and must be sent directly by the registrar of your university to the office of the Federation. Once received, the office of the QKF will download this document into your profile and you can be accredited. For diplomas obtained outside Canada, the Comparative Evaluation of Studies Conducted Outside Quebec, issued by the Department of Immigration, Fracization and Integration, must be emailed to info@kinesiologue.com.
Duties and obligations

Any accredited member must avail himself of professional liability insurance once the accreditation has been completed. The insurance purchase procedures are communicated to the member at the end of the registration.

Any accredited member must complete 30 continuing education credits every 2 years, starting from the year of accreditation. University courses carried out during the accreditation year may be credited according to the equivalence grid for continuing education.
ACCREDITED MEMBERS - POSTGRADUATE STUDENT
To be accredited by the Federation, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and pass the accreditation exam of the QKF.

STUDENT MEMBERS
Undergraduate students in Kinesiology can join for free by providing proof of their student status (tuition receipt, unofficial transcript of transcript).

Proof of student status in kinesiology (copy of transcript). Non-nominative documents (without a name, the title of bachelor and current date) will not be accepted.
- Certificate of registration, transcript or screen copy of the schedule for an undergraduate program in kinesiology.
- Your proof must include: your name, the university name, the title of the baccalaureate in kinesiology and the current year.
PROFESSOR MEMBER
The professor member is a member who teaches kinesiology at the university level.

AFFILIATED MEMBER
The affiliated member is a member who holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, but who is not actively practicing Kinesiology.

MEMBER ON PARENTAL LEAVE
The accredited member who is on parental leave during the course of the year and who provide proof of his parental leave will have to choose the option "Member on parental leave" at the time of renewal of the annual subscription if he wishes to maintain his accreditation. Maternity or paternity benefits are not allowed if chosen as an option only.

Professional liability insurance is mandatory for a member on parental leave who works one day or more in the year.

The member on parental leave is exempt from 15 continuing education credits for the year applied.
