Authorization to practice maximal effort tests

June 18 2025

Montreal, June 18, 2025 — The Quebec kinesiologist Federation (QKF) enthusiastically welcomes the adoption of the regulation authorizing kinesiologists to perform maximal effort tests with the aim of contributing to the evaluation or rehabilitation of cardiac, respiratory or vascular functions. This is a major victory for the profession, which is finally seeing its expertise recognized. The regulation will come into force on July 3.

Formation du nouveau conseil d'administration

L'Assemblée générale annuelle, tenue le 4 mai dernier, a été marquée par un vent de renouveau alors que deux anciens administrateurs ainsi que deux nouvelles administratrices ont été élus pour siéger au sein du conseil. Nous remercions une fois de plus, Me Myriam Cossette-Voyer, avocate et M. Serge Bourdeau, kinésiologue, président sortant pour leur implication et dévouement.
